The Planet Virus Project aims to share international expert opinions and insights with a global audience ranging from persons with a healthy interest in the Planet Virus-related topic to the hardcore experts. We are looking to share insights from organizations such as academic institutions, technology/process-driven companies, hospitals, pharmacies, governments and this from all over the globe, independent of the size of the organization. In addition and very importantly, we also want to hear the voice from individual persons such as covid-19 patients and their caregivers, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, surgeons,…

Planet Virus Talk - Impact op de ouderenzorg

Meer dan 400 deelnemers namen op 28 januari 2021 deel aan onze eerste “Planet Virus Talk” over de impact van COVID-19 op de woonzorgcentra en de thuiszorg, twee sectoren die zwaar leden onder de pandemie maar waar wel schitterend werk geleverd werd.

We blikten terug op het verleden maar keken ook vooral uit naar de toekomst, welke positieve dingen nemen we mee, wat zijn de lessons learned en welk perspectief kunnen we bieden.

Aan de hand van een interactief panelgesprek onder begeleiding van moderator Marleen Finoulst (Bodytalk) gingen we samen met experten Mieke Vandorpe (Coach / Adviseur directieleden in de ouderenzorg), Dr. An Haekens (Ouderenpsychiater en medisch directeur Alexianen Zorggroep Tienen) en Bart Tirez (regiodirecteur Familiehulp) hier dieper op in.

Een enorm succes

Meer dan 120 vragen werden gesteld door de deelnemers. Enkele hiervan werden live in de studio beantwoord door ons panel en de overige vragen werden verwerkt in een artikel. Zie de link hieronder om het artikel en (delen van) de livestream te bekijken.
